Key Responsibilities
Originate grain from growers and brokers across key regions
Execute domestic trades, including DCT sales
Track market movements, pricing trends, and global supply–demand dynamics
Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, customers, and suppliers
Oversee logistics, contracts, and documentation for bulk and container shipments
Work collaboratively with finance, logistics, operations, and other internal teams
Manage trading positions and risk within company guidelines
Identify new business opportunities and support broader strategy execution

Candidate Profile
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or professional qualifications such as CA/CFA
Minimum 10 years of regional experience, ideally within the grains, oilseeds, or GNO trading environment
Strong knowledge of Australian grain markets and international trading structures
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
Strong commercial mindset with ability to spot and convert market opportunities
High-level analytical skills and ability to interpret market intelligence
Strong stakeholder management across internal and external functions
Willingness to travel to regional areas and attend grower meetings
Strong networking and communication skills
