Job Description
Role Purpose
The role focuses on expanding the organisation’s presence across key Central and Western European markets, including Spain, France, and Italy. This includes increasing market share, driving strategic sourcing and sales, and strengthening client relationships across the fertilizer segment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the fertilizer vertical in planning and executing the annual business plan
Drive market expansion and contribute to increasing overall market share
Manage sourcing and sales for major fertilizers (Urea, MAP, DAP, Potash, etc.) in Europe
Deliver P&L responsibility for Central and Western European markets
Develop new business models and build strong customer relationships in the region
Track competition, analyze global market trends, and prepare market intelligence for decision-making
Conduct client due diligence, assist in preparing sales contracts, and ensure compliance
Execute and manage sales transactions end-to-end, including timely payment follow-ups and ensuring zero overdue cases
Ensure adherence to internal SOPs and governance processes

Established client relationships within European fertilizer markets for immediate business activation
Prior experience managing P&L
Thorough knowledge of competition, sourcing channels, import norms, logistics, and operational processes across European ports and markets
Strong analytical ability for interpreting market data and trends
Effective stakeholder management across internal and external teams
Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or relevant trading qualification
5–10 years of fertilizer trading experience within the European market
